NY Judge Scarpulla Dubbed Int'l Arbitration Point Person

Law360 (February 15, 2019, 9:55 PM EST) -- Justice Saliann Scarpulla is taking over as the point person for international arbitration in the Supreme Court of the State of New York, telling Law360 on Friday that she'll follow in her predecessor's footsteps by "encouraging international arbitration work" into the court's Commercial Division.

The court's administrative judge, Deborah Kaplan, noted in an order late last week that New York County-based Justice Scarpulla will handle all commercial international arbitration matters filed in the court.
