Digitek Judge Allows Contact With Actavis Workers

Law360, New York (July 23, 2009, 10:34 PM EDT) -- A federal judge will allow attorneys to have ex parte contact with Actavis Group employees in the multidistrict litigation accusing Actavis of selling a defective or adulterated heart medication.

Judge Mary E. Stanley's pretrial discovery ruling, issued Thursday U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia, granted the plaintiff’s motion to apply the West Virginia Rules of Professional Conduct, which will allow counsel ex parte contact with former employees of Actavis.
