Delphi Retirees Seek Answers From Auto Task Force

Law360, New York (July 24, 2009, 4:25 PM EDT) -- The salaried retiree group from Delphi Corp. has asked the Obama administration's automotive task force to help sort out how the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp.'s takeover of six Delphi pension plans will impact retiree benefits.

The Delphi Salaried Retiree Association met with members of the task force on Thursday and pushed for the same treatment under the deal for salaried employees who worked as clerks, supervisors and engineers as for union-represented hourly employees.
