Major's Niece Cops To $9M Iraq Bribery Scheme

Law360, New York (July 29, 2009, 12:38 PM EDT) -- A Houston woman has pled guilty to charges that she conspired with her uncle, a U.S. Army major, to hide more than $9 million in bribes he accepted as a contracting officer in Kuwait when federal investigators started looking into the funds, making her the fourth defendant to admit to the scheme.
