Khuzami Leaving Deputy US Atty Gig In NY, Returning To DC

Law360 (March 22, 2019, 5:44 PM EDT) -- Robert Khuzami is leaving his post as second-in-command at the Manhattan U.S. attorney’s office next month and giving up a long commute from his home in Washington, D.C., the office announced on Friday.

One of Khuzami’s roles at the U.S. attorney’s office was to oversee investigations where U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman, a former partner at Greenberg Traurig LLP, had a conflict. That list included the case against longtime Trump lawyer Michael Cohen.
