Law360, Los Angeles (April 8, 2019, 6:36 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge granted preliminary approval Monday to Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc.'s $4.7 million class action settlement with workers to resolve wage, meal and rest break claims, two months after demanding more detail about how the otherwise "boilerplate" deal was struck.
