Yoplait Buyers Seek Class Cert. In Yo-Plus Suit

Law360, New York (August 4, 2009, 4:00 PM EDT) -- Yogurt consumers have asked a federal judge for class certification in a case against General Mills Inc. alleging the company's national marketing campaign for Yoplait Yo-Plus probiotic yogurt relied on misleading digestive health claims.

The motion, filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, contends that the consumer protection claims at issue in the case make it ideal for class certification.
