Mueller's Obstruction Report Delves Deep Into Trump's Intent

Law360 (April 18, 2019, 11:00 PM EDT) -- Special counsel Robert Mueller clearly felt constrained when determining whether President Donald Trump committed obstruction, but experts say his report suggests Mueller saw criminal intent behind the president's actions.

After recapping contact between Trump's campaign and Russia, the report laid out investigators' thoughts on 10 times Trump took action that could be seen as attempts to obstruct the probe.

The list includes Trump telling then-FBI Director James Comey to drop a case against former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn in 2017 and then firing Comey, which Mueller tied to Comey refusing to publicly clear Trump.
