Chinese Co. Says Motorola Stonewalling In Trade Secret Fight
Law360 (April 22, 2019, 7:58 PM EDT) -- Motorola Solutions Inc. needs to do a better job preparing its witnesses to discuss precisely which trade secrets have been at the center of its two-year-old lawsuit, the Chinese radio manufacturer Hytera told an Illinois federal judge Friday.
Although Motorola has “repeatedly assured” the court that it and Hytera Communications Corp. Ltd. would learn more through its deposition witnesses about the 136 trade secrets at issue over Hytera’s DMR two-way radio, the witnesses are still not prepared in their meetings, Hytera said.
