J&J Talc Supplier Argues For Its Future Claims Rep Choice

Law360, Wilmington (April 26, 2019, 9:36 PM EDT) -- Imerys Talc America Inc. told a Delaware bankruptcy judge Friday that its choice to serve as a future claims representative for people who may lodge personal injury claims against the debtor is qualified for the position and is the only name that has been put forward for the role.

During a hearing in Wilmington, debtor attorney Jeffrey E. Bjork of Latham & Watkins LLP said the United States trustee has not suggested any alternative candidates for the position of future claims representative in the Chapter 11 case despite repeated objections to the debtor's selection of James L. Patton Jr.
