Attys Apologize For Leaked Coyotes Bid Details

Law360, New York (August 7, 2009, 4:23 PM EDT) -- Attorneys from Jennings Strouss & Salmon PLC, who represent Phoenix Coyotes owner Jerry Moyes, have apologized for inadvertently leaking a confidential document containing details of delicate, ongoing negotiations over bidding for the bankrupt hockey team.

In the apology, filed Thursday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona, the lawyers also argued that the punishment sought by the city of Glendale, Ariz., over the slip-up was too harsh.
