Circuit City, RadioShack Reach Settlement

Law360 (October 10, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In the final development in a legal battle stemming from Circuit City Stores Inc.’s acquisition of InterTAN Inc. in 2004, RadioShack Corp. and Circuit City have agreed to settle litigation over rights to the RadioShack brand in Canada.

News of the settlement emerged in Circuit City’s latest SEC filing, which noted that an agreement had been reached between the two companies in September.
