Smithfield Workers Seek Cert. In Donning, Doffing Suit

Law360, New York (August 11, 2009, 4:01 PM EDT) -- A group of employees at one of Smithfield Packing Co. Inc.'s pork processing plants is seeking conditional certification of a collective action alleging the company failed to pay its employees overtime wages for time spent donning, doffing and storing protective and sanitary equipment.
