Comair Tries To Keep Flight Attendants Off Picket Line

Law360, New York (October 11, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Bankrupt Delta Airline subsidiary Comair has asked for a judge to block a strike of its flight attendants, saying it would put the regional carrier’s future in doubt.

“Even a short-term interruption of Comair’s airline operations would cause a significant loss of revenue, an increase in expenses, a drop in future bookings, and a decrease in customer goodwill; any sustained interruption would threaten Comair’s reorganization and future existence and the attendant loss of over 6,400 jobs, including those of more than 900 flight attendants,” stated the...
