Calif. Officially Names PG&E As Cause Of Deadly Camp Fire
Law360 (May 15, 2019, 10:30 PM EDT) -- A California agency on Wednesday officially deemed Pacific Gas and Electric’s electrical transmission lines as the cause of the state's deadly Camp Fire, which tore through 153,000 acres, destroyed 18,800 structures and killed 85 people last year.
The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection held the utility responsible in a statement announcing the highly anticipated results of its monthslong investigation into the deadliest and most destructive wildfire in California history.
