Kanye Collaborator Conned Korean Fashion Co., Suit Says

Law360 (May 16, 2019, 9:40 PM EDT) -- Kanye West collaborator Malik Yusef was hit with a lawsuit Thursday in Los Angeles county court claiming he got paid to help a Korean fashion company put together a star-studded ad campaign for a new line of sunglasses, but never intended to deliver.

IICOMBINED Co. Ltd. and its U.S. subsidiary alleged that Yusef had capitalized on his celebrity connections to convince the Korean designer that he could get global celebrities to work on the company’s marketing for its new sunglasses line, dubbed Project 13.
