Pa. Lawyer Says Ex-Partner Stiffed Him On $1.3M In Fees

Law360 (May 17, 2019, 4:40 PM EDT) -- A Pittsburgh attorney is suing his former legal partner for some $1.3 million in fees he claims he's owed for hundreds of hours of work on a now-settled class action against First Commonwealth Bank.

In a lawsuit removed to Pennsylvania federal court on Thursday, Rudy Fabian said that Michigan-based attorney Richard Shenkan paid him only $45,000 out of the $2.92 million in legal fees awarded in the case despite the more than 800 hours he devoted to the litigation.
