Allianz's Effort To Toss Annuity Claims Shut Down

Law360, New York (August 18, 2009, 6:29 PM EDT) -- A judge has rejected a request from Allianz Life Insurance Co. of North America to throw out claims in a class action alleging the company made misrepresentations in the sale of annuities, asserting that the company’s contentions have already been addressed and it is “pouring old wine into a new bottle.”
