Georgia-Pacific On Hook For Ark. Mine Cleanup

Law360, New York (August 21, 2009, 5:50 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has ruled that paper products company Georgia-Pacific Corp. and specialty minerals company Milwhite Inc. can't be deemed wholly exempt from liability for cleanup costs at a decades-old Arkansas mining site, which so far have been mostly assessed against Halliburton Energy Services Inc.
