Linkin Park Owed In Concert Tour Contract Spat: Court

Law360, New York (August 21, 2009, 7:02 PM EDT) -- A California judge has found that WRFF LLC and its executives owe rock band Linkin Park more than $725,000 for breach of contract, while WRFF's licensing partner Salton Inc. has been cleared of all liability relating to a sponsorship contract between WRFF and Linkin Park for the band's 2004 summer concert tour.

Superior Court Judge Robert L. Hess finalized his ruling Wednesday in the Los Angeles Superior Court, additionally ordering WRFF's founder, Jeff Summers, to pay $100,000 in punitive damages for fraud.
