3rd Circ. Revives Retaliation Claim Against Bloomberg

Law360, New York (August 24, 2009, 2:37 PM EDT) -- A U.S. appeals court has reversed a ruling that cleared Bloomberg LP of retaliating against an ex-employee for alleging age bias, but sided with the media company on related employment discrimination claims brought by four current and former employees.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit on Thursday affirmed a federal judge's summary judgment ruling in favor of Bloomberg on age and disability discrimination, hostile work environment and sexual harassment claims.
