NJ Judge In Hot Water Over Remarks In 'Revenge Porn' Case

Law360 (August 15, 2019, 8:46 PM EDT) -- A New Jersey judge partially admitted on Thursday to making “intemperate and not judicial” remarks in a case stemming from a dispute among two members of a love triangle over the alleged theft of some racy photos.

Judge Alberto Rivas “publicly humiliated, embarrassed and demeaned” two women during a hearing as well as a man who was husband to one of the women and boyfriend to the other, according to a complaint filed Wednesday with New Jersey’s Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct.
