Judge Approves More Saint Vincent Labor Contracts

Law360, New York (October 17, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Centers of New York has received bankruptcy court approval for labor contracts with groups of nurses, engineers and security guards at hospitals it is about to sell.

As a result of the approval, current contracts with the groups have been extended by three years, and the hospital operator has clearance to sell three of its money-losing facilities.
