Nadel Investors Seek To Hasten Holland & Knight Suit

Law360, New York (September 1, 2009, 6:34 PM EDT) -- Investors in an alleged $100 million Ponzi scheme operated by Florida fund manager Arthur Nadel have asked a judge to speed up their malpractice class action against Holland & Knight LLP, which allegedly prepared private placement memorandums for the funds.

In a motion filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the investors said that the case should proceed on an expedited schedule because many of the plaintiffs were old and infirm, and might not live to see an equitable resolution...
