US Hits Iran With New Sanctions, OKs Troops To Aid Saudis

Law360 (September 20, 2019, 8:52 PM EDT) -- The Trump administration lobbed fresh sanctions on Iran on Friday, while greenlighting troops to defend Saudi Arabia, following the recent attacks on Saudi oil fields.

The U.S. Department of the Treasury expanded sanctions against Iran's central bank and imposed new ones on its sovereign wealth fund in moves aimed at strangling funding for terrorist groups.
