Retirees Win Class Cert. In BorgWarner ERISA Case

Law360, New York (September 3, 2009, 7:03 PM EDT) -- Retirees who are asking a federal court for a declaration that they are entitled to lifetime health care benefits from vehicle power-train applications systems and components company BorgWarner Inc. won class certification Thursday.

Judge Paul D. Borman of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan signed off on an opinion and order granting the plaintiffs' bid for class certification and tapping Klimist McKnight Sale McClow & Canzano PC as class counsel.
