Nev. Residents Ask To Proceed With WL Homes Suit

Law360, New York (September 4, 2009, 5:10 PM EDT) -- Joining a growing number of California residents, a group of 62 Nevada homeowners is seeking court approval to pursue a state court suit against bankrupt builder WL Homes LLC over alleged construction defects at a Las Vegas housing development.

Murray Stravers and dozens of other homeowners filed a motion Sept. 3 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware to lift WL Homes' automatic stay in order to liquidate their claims over the allegedly faulty construction of their residences at the Paloma development....
