Court Dismisses Barclays Suit Against Arthur Andersen

Law360 (October 19, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- One of the banks that financed Enron Corp. will not collect any money from the now-defunct Arthur Andersen LLC, after a judge tossed the bank’s suit against the auditor.

The judge overseeing Enron’s bankruptcy proceedings threw out the lawsuit filed by Barclays PLC against Arthur Andersen, ruling that the bankruptcy court did not have the jurisdiction to hear the case.
