Drivers Deliver Unpaid Wages Action To Pizza Hut

Law360, New York (September 8, 2009, 12:26 PM EDT) -- Two Pizza Hut delivery drivers have hit the restaurant with a proposed collective action, accusing it of violating the Fair Labor Standards Act in failing to properly compensate them for vehicle upkeep and deliveries at a rate above the federal minimum wage.

Current delivery driver Sue Blackwood and former employee Scott Lewis sued franchise operator Fugate Enterprises Inc., Pizza Hut of Southeast Kansas and the companies' owner and operator Larry Fugate for unpaid wages on Friday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas....
