Second Citibank Commodities Desk Head Pleads Guilty

Law360, New York (October 20, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A former head of U.S. sales and trading on Citibank N.A.’s commodities desk has followed the lead of a fellow Citibank trader and pled guilty for his role in a scheme to inflate trading profits by $20 million.

Charles Craig Gile pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to falsify bank records and commit wire fraud on Thursday in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
