Enviro Groups Hit FEMA On Flood Insurance In NM

Law360, New York (September 15, 2009, 5:37 PM EDT) -- WildEarth Guardians has asked a federal court to enforce a 2002 settlement agreement ordering the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency to assess the National Flood Insurance Program's effects on threatened and endangered species and has filed a new suit against FEMA for the same purpose, the latest salvo in environmental groups' long-running battle over the program.
