Ex-Loan Officer Wants Wells Fargo Class Certified

Law360, New York (September 16, 2009, 12:51 PM EDT) -- A former commercial loan officer for Wells Fargo Bank has asked a judge to conditionally certify a proposed collective action alleging she and her peers were not paid overtime as required by the Fair Labor Standards Act.

In a motion filed Sept. 15 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, Lin-Chi Wang asked a judge to conditionally certify a collective action, saying the allegations and evidence provide "ample basis" for an order providing notice to others who worked as commercial loan officers...
