Star Tribune Reorganization Plan OK'd

Law360, New York (September 17, 2009, 7:20 PM EDT) -- A judge has approved the reorganization plan for bankrupt newspaper publishing company Star Tribune Holding Corp. despite an eleventh-hour request from its creditors committee to disclose who will be tapped to serve as the firm's post-bankruptcy publisher.

Judge Robert D. Drain of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York signed off on the plan Thursday, which should allow Star Tribune to officially emerge from bankruptcy by the end of the month.
