Software Provider Seeks Ax Of Loan Servicer's Antitrust Suit

Law360 (January 3, 2020, 8:13 PM EST) -- Black Knight Inc., a mortgage servicing software provider, asked a California federal court to throw out a suit brought by PennyMac Loan Services, saying PennyMac "misunderstands fundamental tenets of federal antitrust law."

In addition to the motion to dismiss filed Thursday, Black Knight also filed a motion to move the entire case to Florida district court, outlining that the contract governing its relationship with PennyMac requires the case be litigated in the Sunshine State.
