U.S. Hospital Chain Settles Union Dispute With NLRB

Law360 (October 24, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Following a settlement with the National Labor Relations Board’s regional office, an Illinois hospital chain will be required to notify its employees of their right to show support for labor unions.

Resurrection Health Care, the largest Catholic health care network in Illinois, caved under pressure last week after NLRB’s Region 13 claimed in its complaint that the hospital chain violated employees' rights under federal labor law.
