Judge Dismisses Micron’s Claims Against Mosaid

Law360 (October 25, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A California district court has tossed Micron Technology Inc.’s complaint seeking declaratory judgment and an invalidation of DRAM patents owned by Ottawa-based semiconductor company Mosaid Technologies Inc.

Citing a lack of subject matter jurisdiction, U.S. Judge Jeremy Fogle decided to dismiss Micron’s case in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. Mosaid said the decision in the California court would help expedite a resolution of a related patent dispute in Texas.
