Coyotes Authorize Creditors To Sue Moyes, Others

Law360, New York (September 23, 2009, 6:50 PM EDT) -- The bankrupt Phoenix Coyotes hockey team has agreed to give its unsecured creditors the right to bring claims against team owner Jerry Moyes and other insiders on behalf of the estate.

The Coyotes' holding company, its affiliates and the official committee of unsecured creditors stipulated to the entry of an order on Wednesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona assigning the committee all of the debtors' interest in claims against company insiders.
