AA Wants Yahoo Sanctioned $1.2M In Keyword Suit

Law360, New York (September 24, 2009, 2:50 PM EDT) -- American Airlines Inc. has asked a district court to sanction Yahoo Inc. $1.2 million for allegedly withholding discovery evidence in an ongoing trademark spat relating to keyword search terms.

Yahoo destroyed responsive information, produced thousands of pages of irrelevant documents and failed to produce information critical to the trademark dispute, American said in a motion for sanctions filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
