Microsoft To Settle Antitrust Suits For $262M

Law360, New York (October 25, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Microsoft Corp. has agreed to shell out up to $262 million worth of vouchers in Arkansas and Wisconsin to settle two private class action antitrust suits filed in those states, with the proposed settlements benefiting public schools as well as consumers.

Under the proposed settlement agreements, as much as $224 million in vouchers will go to eligible consumers and business in Wisconsin, and as much as $38 million will go to eligible businesses and consumers in Arkansas.
