Leslie Controls Wins Reversal Of Asbestos Ruling

Law360, New York (September 28, 2009, 5:38 PM EDT) -- A California appeals court has reversed a verdict against steam power components manufacturer Leslie Controls Inc. in an asbestos exposure case brought by a former U.S. Navy senior chief machinist’s mate, ruling that the evidence did not support findings of strict liability against the parts maker under state law.
