Edwards' Patent Suit Over Heart Valve Device Set For July Trial

Law360, London (March 24, 2020, 6:14 PM GMT) -- A London judge on Tuesday set a July trial date in a case over alleged infringement of three European patents for a prosthetic heart valve brought by an American medical technology company against an India-based rival.

High Court Judge Colin Birss set the July 17 start date for the nine-day trial after claimant Edwards Lifesciences Corp. told the court the parties wished to have the matter heard before the judiciary’s routine summer break.
