2nd. Circ. Restores Award In Insurance Bond Spat

Law360, New York (October 1, 2009, 7:05 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court on Thursday ruled a lower court erred in reducing an award to a stonework subcontractor in an insurance bond suit involving an alleged breach of contract.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit reversed part of the ruling against Arch Insurance Co. and Lumbermens Mutual Casualty Co., remanding the award to the district court to be amended.
