Rite Aid Looks To Settle OT Class Action For $6.9M

Law360, New York (October 5, 2009, 4:00 PM EDT) -- Rite Aid Corp. has asked a federal court to approve a $6.9 million settlement that would bring an end to a protracted class action accusing the drugstore chain of failing to pay its managers for overtime work.

The company and lead plaintiffs filed a joint motion for final approval of the class action settlement Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, calling on the court to sign off on the settlement and end four years of litigation.
