Apotex Asks Judge To Lift Plavix Injunction

Law360 (October 31, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Lawyers for Canadian generic maker Apotex Inc. urged Federal Circuit judges on Tuesday to permit it to sell a copycat version of Plavix until the patent dispute with Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. and Sanofi-Aventis over the drug is resolved.

Apotex is seeking to reverse a preliminary injunction preventing it from making and selling a generic version of the blood-thinning drug.
