Bankruptcy Litigation Swell Tugs On Corporate Budgets

Law360, New York (October 14, 2009, 10:59 PM EDT) -- Over the last year, U.S. companies have seen a great increase in bankruptcy disputes and are retooling their budgets in anticipation of continued activity, according to Fulbright & Jaworski LLP's 2009 Litigation Trends Survey.

The sixth annual survey, which polled corporate law departments in the U.S. and the U.K. on the state of global litigation in the past 12 months, reported that companies were seeing a swell in bankruptcy-related litigation that showed no signs of letting up.
