ACLU Petitions For Undocumented Workers' Rights

Law360 (November 2, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- The American Civil Liberties Union and other law advocacy groups filed a petition Wednesday that accused the United States of failing to protect millions of undocumented workers from workplace exploitation and discrimination.

The filing was presented to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights on behalf of the AFL-CIO, the United Mine Workers of America, the Interfaith Justice Network and six immigrant workers.
