Robbins, WeissLaw To Lead Apple Suit Over Slow IPhones

Law360 (June 30, 2020, 3:48 PM EDT) -- Robbins LLP and WeissLaw LLP have won co-lead counsel status in a shareholder derivative action accusing Apple Inc.'s top brass of intentionally slowing down its older iPhone models after a California federal judge found that the firms had "an edge" over two competing firms.

U.S. District Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers appointed Robbins and WeissLaw, which are representing investor plaintiffs Terrence Zehrer, Andrew Fine, Tammy Federman SEP/IRA and the Rosenfeld Family Foundation, referred to collectively as ZFFR, over investor Alan Bankhalter's attorneys at Pritzker Levine LLP and Gainey McKenna & Egleston on Monday.
