11th Circ. Seeks Input On Wal-Mart Insurance Suit

Law360, New York (October 19, 2009, 6:07 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has asked the Florida Supreme Court to interpret an amendment to its state statute in order to determine if the rule can be applied retroactively to a suit accusing Wal-Mart Stores Inc. of taking out and benefiting from life insurance policies on its employees without their consent.
