Mars Unit Didn't Waive Claim In JCM Patent Suit: Judge

Law360, New York (October 19, 2009, 5:32 PM EDT) -- A subsidiary of candy conglomerate Mars Inc. never waived a compulsory counterclaim in a long-running dispute with Japan Cash Machine Co. Ltd. over gaming-related patents, a federal judge has ruled as part of a refusal to dismiss the case.
