Deere & Co. Wins ERISA Class Action

Law360, New York (October 19, 2009, 4:13 PM EDT) -- A class consisting of retirees who alleged Deere & Co. illegally changed their medical benefits has lost its case against the heavy equipment manufacturer, with a judge ruling that a clear disclaimer on plan documents superseded alleged promises made by managers.
